June 6, 1939 - Firestation Construction at Elysian Fields and Pelopidas


Fire Station #1 (Elysian Fields and Pelopidas St.) under construction by WPA
workers. The station will be of Spanish bungalow architecture and of stucco
construction. Plans call for a large apparatus room, dormitories, shower rooms,
