1863 Governor John M. Parker is Born

Born in Washington, La., John Milliken Parker served as Governor from 1920 to
1924. Career Prior to this he was President of the Cotton Exchange and the New
Orleans Board of Trade. Parker died on May 20, 1939 in Pass Christian,
Mississippi and is emtombed in Metairie Cemetery.
