I can remember going to Fitzgerald's in the '50's, when the menu you have posted for today was extant. I was somewhere around ten years old, my Sister, Anne Marie, about eight. We can remember one thing about Fitzgerald's, that is, once you were seated out on the porch overlooking lovely Lake Pontchartrain, you were brought a relish tray replete with potato chips, pickles, olives, celery, etc. This was gratis! Not no mo', eh? Times have changed!

I used to like Fitzgerald's...
when I was a kid. The other restaurant out there over the water that I remember was Swanson's. Can anyone tell me what is in those spots now? New restaurants?

(But my favorite restaurant in those days was Lenfant's on Canal Blvd.)
