May 10, 2003:

RED MAGIC, a section of the New Orleans, TIMES-PICAYUNE, dated Dec. 7, 1930. This section is focused on magic, games, puzzles, etc. and is printed in red ink on pgs. 1&4 and black ink on the inside pages. The masthead includes a likeness of Harry Houdini.

Never heard of a "Red Magic" section in the TP. I wonder which railroads were rivals then.

"dated July 22, 1928. As you see in the photo below, there is a likeness of Harry Houdini in the masthead. This 4 page issue measures 10 1/2 by 15 1/2 inches, is printed entirely in red ink, and is in nice condition save for being somewhat irregular at the spine. Filled with various games & puzzles--an interesting and quite uncommon newspaper supplement!"
