March 30, 1967 Airplane crash at Airport Hilton in Kenner

A Delta DC-8-51, flight number 9877, crashed into the hotel as it attempted to
land at Moisant field. Nineteen lives were lost in this training flight. The
crash was attributed to double engine failure.
