White Kitchen at U. S. 190 and U. S. 90


The White Kitchen was a favorite stop off for many New Orleans travelers heading out of the city. This restaurant, lounge, and liquor store located at the intersection of U. S. 190 and U. S. 90 was easy to find because a large roadside sign depicting a Native American beckoned all who passed by. Note the Jaz Beer sign.
