thanking thee for all the knowledge
gained beneath thy guiding hand.

Thou hast helped us, thou hast taught us

The rhythm was dirge-like and the words pretentious, but I wonder why I can still belt out this school song word for word yet can't remember where I have parked my car when I go to the Mall.
